In 2002 we defined our Declaration of Business Principles with assistance from Integrity Works, Inc., headquartered in the United Kingdom.

We have been sharing our principles with employees since 2003, through participatory workshops in Masisa.

During 2007 we continue to work toward our goals of 90% participation of Masisa’s new employees in the Business Principles Workshop, and 25% of long-standing employees to refresh their knowledge through the re-introduction program.

We have created a formal process through which queries can be received, including an e-mail address to allow all employees to send questions, complaints or suggestions in an independent manner. This e-mail address is checked confidentially by the President and members of the Audit Committee who are authorized to receive and process complaints.

 We also have a questionnaire on Principles’ compliance and possible conflicts of interest that is sent to all GrupoNuevo executives. This process is coordinated by GrupoNueva’s General Counsel and the Risk and Audit director.

GrupoNueva’s CEO presents an annual report to the company’s Board of Directors on advances in the implementation of the Business Principles.
